GAGO is a rocking armchair that honours the first aerial crossing of the South Atlantic, realized by Sacadura Cabral and Gago Coutinho in 1922. Inspired by the shape of the aviator’s helmet and the wings of a seaplane, the GAGO’s upholstery rests on a platform of wood, which resembles of the hydroplane floaters. Important details: Nature is perfect with all the natural imperfections. So differences of colour and tonality can happen due to common changes in the natural materials. The product has handmade processes so final dimensions may vary slightly. All these changes and variations are not considered defects.
Clean and maintenance: Use a dry, soft cotton cloth or a vacuum cleaner to clean your piece. Do not use abrasive detergent or cleaning product. Avoid the constant direct sunlight, because it can darken the wood. Avoid contact with acid liquids, because it could create stains. Find more HERE
Warranty: All DAM products are guaranteed for a period of 3 years. It includes problems concerned with the production or material faults. During this time we will repair or replace the products. The warranty excludes all damages caused by improper usage, negligence or natural wearing out of the product.
This rocking armchair is made with a sturdy frame and offers a comfy but firm seat. It features a large curved back that contours the user.
The soothing rocking motion of a nursery rocking chair will help to calm even the most fractious of babies and is very often part and parcel of getting little ones to sleep. Most babies respond well to routine and will quickly associate a feed in the calm and comfortable surroundings of their nursery with bedtime.
The fabrics and foams of the adult rocking chair are certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.
We recommend you vacuum your nursery rocking chair every week, at low power and with the soft mouthpiece, to prevent the filling from shifting and the fibers being pulled out during vacuuming. Do not always sit in the same place, so that your rocking armchair will last longer and the upholstery on the cushions will be more even. A foam product also needs to be beaten to make the cushions return to their natural shape despite the use.
