Composed of a semi-sphere of agglomerated dark cork that evokes the earth’s crust, MAGMA features a highly polished stone top with intense and expressive veins. This surface portrays a peculiar narrative about the beauty of our planet, dynamic yet deeply fragile, highlighting what is important to care for and preserve – Nature. The coffee table is available in two sizes that combine with the option of a turned wooden beam base that elevates the semi-sphere, in an ode to our Planet. Materials and Finishings: Natural agglomerated black cork (base) and polished Portuguese marble (‘Pele de tigre’) or Portuguese limestone (‘Aplinina’ or ‘Rosa Negrais’). Colourless matt varnish (tabletop). Colourless aqueous coating with properties of water repellency, oil, and stains and high resistance to UV and aging (cork base).

Important details: Nature is perfect with all the natural imperfections. So differences of colour and tonality can happen due to common changes in the natural materials. Few cork granules may be released as time goes by due to the natural characteristics of the cork. The product is handmade so final dimensions may vary slightly. All these changes and variations are not considered defects.

Clean and maintenance: Use a dry, soft cotton cloth or a vacuum cleaner to clean your piece. Do not use detergent or any cleaning product, only water. Avoid the constant direct sunlight, because it can darken the cork and the stone. Avoid contact with acid liquids, because it could create stains. Find more HERE

Warranty: All DAM products are guaranteed for a period of 3 years. It includes problems concerned with the production or material faults. During this time we will repair or replace the products. The warranty excludes all damages caused by improper usage, negligence or natural wearing out of the product.

Can the small coffee table stain?

Marble is a porous, high-maintenance surface. We could get into the geology of this, but the takeaway is that marble is vulnerable to staining agents (like wine, juice and oil) that seep deep into the rock. So, it’s important to regularly care for your small coffee table.

Are all the materials of the small coffee table eco-friendly?

We do not use dangerous or harmful chemicals in our products. Black cork and marble are both natural and biodegradable.

How do I care for my small coffee table?

Keep your small coffee table in black cork and marble away from direct sunlight. The discoloration of the cork will happen over time if left in the sun. Please note that marble cannot withstand acid or other acidic detergents. Therefore, if you spill any liquids on the surface, you should wash it off immediately. Marble cannot withstand warm items too, which is why we recommend you avoid placing tealights, saucepans or other hot objects directly on the surface.
