Gaïa, which represents “Mother Earth”, is carved out of white marble by Anne Podbielski whose aim is to transform her art into a timeless homeware piece, integrating art into everyday life. After moving to Portugal, Anna decided to give “Gaia” a second life by reforging her in ceramic, associating the purity of the line to the imperfection artisanal tradition. This timeless piece can be filled with flowers or simply exposed as it is.

Each piece is carved out of white marble by Anne Podbielski whose aim is to transform her art into a timeless homeware piece by integrating art into everyday life. Anna collaborates with some of the best local ceramists in Caldas da Rainha, in the centre of Portugal, to create high-quality vases, producing them by small quantity.
