Due to the handmade production in small series, some of the VICARA products may have some slight discrepancies in shape or material texture. This is what makes the handmade pieces special and unique. DAM and VICARA cannot be held responsible for such discrepancies, because this is not be considered a defect. Please also note that “craquelê” – small cracking formed on the superficial layer of the finishing – could naturally happen as a result of ageing. This is also not considered a defect.

Maintenance and care

Microwave resistance: this product can be microwaved for heating; always use a handle or glove when removing dishes from the microwave. Dishwasher safe: this product is dishwasher safe; avoid leaving it in the machine after the washing program has ended (avoid attacking the surface by the vapors generated). Conventional Oven Resistor: use not recommended. Thermal Shock Resistance: avoid placing hot parts in cold places or in contact with cold water; avoid the freezer.

This product has a 3 year warranty. Includes production-related issues or material failures. During that time, we will repair or replace the product. The guarantee excludes all damage caused by misuse, negligence or natural wear and tear of the product.

Why terracotta pan an pot have variations?

Terracotta pieces vary in tonality due to variations in glaze thickness and temperature during the firing process. This natural variation is intrinsic to their beauty. To avoid misconceptions, we require that all clients approve the full variation within each reference.

How to care my terracotta pan and pot?

The terracotta pan and pot are safe for microwave and dishwasher. We do not recommend to use it in the freezer and oven. Avoid thermal shocks such as placing hot parts in cold places or in contact with very cold liquids. Clean the terracotta pan and pot with a damp cloth. And please note the terracotta pan an pot may look sturdy and strong, but they’re often fragile and easy to chip or break.
